Our Story

Mongolfiere Italia launched in 1990 with the idea of promoting hot air ballooning in Tuscany. Founded by Ballon Team Italia, the company has become a flagship for those seeking an authentic experience in Tuscany. And not just Tuscany. We fly all over Italy. In 2010, we were granted authorization to make commercial flights with passengers by both the Swiss and Italian Civil Aviation Authorities, which means that with us, excellence and safety in hot air ballooning are guaranteed.

Where do we fly?

We have numerous locations: Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, but our main destination is Tuscany: Florence, Chianti, Siena, Montisi, Pienza, Cortona, Montalcino, San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, and Volterra.

Fantastic experience, really worth doing it ! Formidable team , close-knit and very nice; the pilot Guido made me live a fantastic emotion . One hour flight over the Chianti hills . Once we landed we were also offered a rich breakfast .

It was worth waking up at 5😉 to see fantastic Tuscan landscape from above, admire rising sun, enjoy the morning peace and silence.... the adventurous landing ☺️ made us laugh and to end it all - the breakfast served on the lawn!!!! 🔝

This morning I took a hot air balloon flight over Florence, fantastic experience! Flying over the city in a hot air balloon early in the morning makes it even more magical than it is. The pilot, Guido, super nice and available to answer any questions!

Experience above and beyond expectations. The feeling is that of being part of the sky . Seeing L' sunrise from up there left me with a memory for life.Exciting and unique is the view of Chianti that always offers cues for beautiful photos. Competent team ( you can feel their passion ) all kind and welcoming, excellent L 'organization and also the snack. In Line I would say for everyone.

Unforgettable experience!!! We flew through the Chianti valleys in a hot air balloon in the early morning hours, and it was amazing! Guido,the pilot, very competent and professional, gave us a briefing before we started flying and then accompanied us on this wonderful adventure! Once we landed we were treated to an excellent sweet and savory breakfast and toast of prosecco! An unforgettable experience that I recommend to do at least once in a lifetime!!!
