GENERAL INFORMATIONS
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale concern the purchase of products made remotely via telematic network on the website “this website” belonging to the “data controller”. Each purchase transaction will be governed by the provisions of Legislative Decree 185/99, Legislative Decree 206/05; The information directed to the conclusion of the contract will be subject to art. 12 of Legislative Decree 70/03 and, as regards the protection of confidentiality, it will be subject to the legislation referred to in Legislative Decree 196/03.

  • The following terms and conditions are accepted from the moment you make your reservation through our portal www.mongolfiereitalia.com

  • The final confirmation of the flight, with all the instructions on how to reach us at the take-off field and the time of the appointment, will be communicated by Balloon Team Italia at 18:00 by email or by phone the day before the flight.
  • Balloon Team Italia reserves the right to cancel the flight in the event of weather conditions that compromise its safety
  • If the flight is cancelled by the team on the same day (due to weather conditions), participants will receive a full refund. Alternatively, the reservation will be moved to the next day based on availability. The choice is up to the participants.
  • The take-off field varies according to weather conditions. If you don’t receive this information, contact the activity provider by phone or email. It is important to check your spam and email.

What is included

Refunds

Cases in which the customer will not be able to exercise the refund

  • In the event that the passenger does not show up at the meeting place and at the pre-arranged time indicated in their travel document.

General Rules

  • Hot air ballooning can be as risky as any other activity.
  • By taking part in a flight, the passenger is aware of the potential risks. The flight, on all occasions, will be under the control and supervision of a certified pilot who is committed to making the flight safe and pleasant.
  • The pilot is not qualified to judge the state of health of the passenger whether he is able to fly or not; however, for their own safety and that of others, the passenger must ensure that they are physically fit to participate in the flight.
As imposed by the navigation code, it is not permitted to fly for people with disabilities, impairments, illnesses or syndromes that prevent the smooth running of a hot air balloon flight and in particular:
  • Those suffering from cardiovascular diseases, those with pacemakers and those suffering from heart disease are not allowed to fly.
  • Persons with bone deficiency problems or osteoporosis are not permitted to fly.
  • Persons with serious back and limb problems that prevent the normal walking necessary to enter and exit the hot air balloon basket are not permitted to fly.
  • Pregnant women from the third month onwards are not allowed to fly.
  • Persons with serious hearing compensation problems are not permitted to fly.

Other useful informations

  • Passengers are insured according to the requirements of the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization)
  • The hot air balloons, categorized as VIP models, comply with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) standards
  • For safety reasons, the experience is not available to children under 6 years of age
